Housefull 2 –The Dirty Dozen: Hilarious..Fun.. & Frolic..!

Director Sajid Khan is back with all fun and frolic in 'Housefull 2 - The Dirty Dozen' which surely proves to be a laughing ride. It is chockfull of hilarious elements tickling your funny bone to the core.

The colossal cast of ‘Housefull 2’ makes it bigger, better and best as compared to the previous edition.

This brand new installment has everything to make it the best joyful affair. The drama, the story, the cast is just perfect to grab the attention of moviegoers.

'Housefull 2' belongs to the same school of crazy comedies that gave us 'No Entry', 'Welcome', the 'Golmaal' series and 'Ready'.

This movie truly gives a new description to mad and bizarre. Sajid Khan hasn’t denied the fact that his motive is to make a movie that appeals to the masses, the aam aadmi who rejoice hardcore masala movies.

In fact, ‘Housefull 2’ has all the constituents of a typical Hindi movie with laughter and wacky silliness in plenty.

Moreover, with songs, dances and fun-filled moments, it delivers what it promises. The mantra is simple: Keep the fun quotient on.

If you belong to those who cares less about logic and rationale, and looks at movies for entertainment or which act as stress busters, ‘Housefull 2’ will quench your thirst in those two hours.

The first hour is gusty and amusing. Don't miss the crocodile and python episodes in this hour!

The track involving Vindoo seems uncalled-for and the fight sequence looks bit unnecessary. Ditto for some sequences in the middle of the second hour [the Mithun-Boman tiff], which rust down the movie.

Besides, a few jokes appear unnatural while a few fall flat and ineffective. The climax is quite captivating which keeps you glued to the seats.

Sajid Khan comes up with a film full of jolliness, frolic and gaiety. While the screenplay is waterproof in the first hour, the writers could have added more madcap stuff in the second half.

Yet, there's no denying that the motive is to make you laugh and this movie makes you roll with laughter on several occasions.

A special mention for the dialogues which are witty, funny and amusing. The music [Sajid-Wajid] has been created keeping in mind the theme of the movie. 'Papa To Band Bajaye' is already popular and so are 'Right Now' and 'Anarkali'. The cinematography is evidently alluring.

Akshay is in form this time. He gets into the skin of the character and delivers a scintillating performance.

John also has emerged a lot better in his comic timing and able to won your smiles with his worthy act.

Riteish continues to be in the middle of an exciting phase. Proving his knack in several comic films, the actor displays his comic time yet again.

Shreyas is almost a veteran as far as comic entertainers are concerned. Surely, he makes an intense effort to come up with an engaging act so as to make people screech in delight.

Amongst the female leads, Asin has the substantial role and gives a decent account of herself. Jacqueline, Shazahn and Zarine act more as an eye candy. They are the typical sultry and sizzling sirens and best suited in their spaces.

It's a treat watching yesteryear’s talent like Randhir, Rishi and Mithun portraying wacky characters with panache. In fact, each one of them is wonderful in their respective parts.

Boman Irani is efficiently showcased the skills in his not-so-lengthy character. Chunky Pandey is simply terrific. Johny Lever's comedy is perfect (as always). Ranjeet looks hilarious in a cameo.

Sexy Malaika Arora Khan oozes oodles of oomph in the 'Anarkali' track!

On the whole, 'Housefull 2' is a madcap entertainer that gets the viewer laughing, screeching, whistling and applauding on his seat. The spectators parked around you too are utterly betrothed in the chaos and seeking maximum pleasure from the on-screen happenings.

If you thought of watching a comedy is to have a good time at the movies, then the doze of ‘Housefull 2’ is all you need.
