Yes… the much-awaited flick, Cocktail has hit the big screens today!
Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty starrer Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajania opened to packed houses.
Cocktail, as the title suggests, is a bright and amusing mix of three refreshingly different characters. With all the hypes and positive vibes surrounding Cocktail, it actually proves that the movie has lots stored in for the young crowd!
The look and feel of the film is colorful as shot at exotic locations. The fresh designs, bright colors and tribal prints of the wardrobe is very enchanting. The plot seems good for the start.
Lead star, Saif Ali Khan is believable in his role as a flirt. Diana Penty looks impressive in her debut. She is quite lovable in the film. Deepika Padukone looks absolutely sensational and is extremely terrific as Veronica.
Deepika is surely a show stealer out here! Her cool, casual attitude is a treat to watch. She is undoubtedly a complete surprise package!
Dimple Kapadia is nice to watch as she plays the perfect Punjabi mom. Boman Irani as usual does complete justice to his character. His and Dimple’s chat in the beginning is fun-filled and amazing. Another ‘wow’ factor is the music by Pritam in the film.
Cocktail’s story revolves around the lives of three different characters, Gautam (Saif), Veronica (Deepika) and Meera (Diana). Veronica and Diana, who extremely opposite in characters, stay under the same roof in London. Things changes when Gautam, who gets a dream job here moves in with them. The film beautifully defines enjoyable, entertaining and entangled friendships along with bitter turmoil that friends can go through.
Though different from each other, these three are perfect friends, staying under one roof. As three people living together, they all have a blast, until love happens. The perfect friendship turns confusing, and love becomes complicated.
It is exciting to see with whom does Gautam finally ends up! Is it Veronica or Meera? Do watch the flick to get the suspense!
All in all, Cocktail is a perfect slice-of-urban-life kind of framework for trendy fashion, trendy music, trendy dialogues and, of course, trendy attitude. We like!
